I made this work during the quarantine for the COVID 19 pandemic. It is about handling trauma in plain sight of others while wanting privacy and discretion. I am releasing prints as a benefit for my local women’s shelter that aids women in dangerous home environments. Ruth's Place is the only emergency shelter for homeless women in Luzerne County, where I live. A program of Volunteers of America of Pennsylvania, Ruth's Place has provided emergency shelter and services for over 4,000 homeless women since its beginning in 2003. An extra one-inch border will go around the printed area. This means the actual sheet size of the paper will be a total of 2 inches larger than the ordered width and height of the print.
